Boylan Indie Rock Engineer/Producer Nathan Eldred:![]() Nathan Eldred has been professionally engaged in audio engineering industry as an engineer, producer, consultant, and studio owner for over 10 years. Nathan had established Atlas Recording Studios in 1994. In 2003, he has opened a second recording studio in addition to Atlas Recording's main facility. With over 15 years of experience; he is currently engineering and producing full time. He has fine tuned recording techniques, a unique style, vast experience "in the trenches" and golden ears. In addition to taking unique approach to recording, he also is a versatile mixing and mastering engineer. He has recorded, mixed and/or mastered, literally thousands of songs by over 200 different bands and artists.
He also is available in the capacity of a consultant. He has provided consultatations for engineers and producers, studio owners and studio construction, artists, and pro audio gear manufacturers. In 2000, Nathan started Atlas Pro Audio, Inc. it was a natural progression from studio consultation. He found himself already in the position of meeting many new people and providing recording consultation. There is little difference between engineering in the studio and studio/gear consulting, the same skill set needed in recording is what it takes to serve the needs of national clients, engineers, singers/songwriters, musicians, and producers. In the last several years, he has collaborated with many gear manufacturers on innovative product development for which there is a need in the recording industry. The creation of the 4 Channel Daking Mic Pre (Mic Pre IV) and the modular Daking console are the result of collaboration between Nathan and Geoff Daking. The release of the Buzz Audio Mono EQ, an added mod to the Vintech 1272, new products coming to the Old School Audio Line. And there is currently in the works a few products he is collaborating on, stay tuned.
